Kids in the Kitchen

Kids in The Kitchen is a great opportunity for students to get involved in the prepping and cooking process. Students will be working hard after schools to prepare delicious meals for their family to enjoy.

This year's meals were: BBQ Pork Chops, Potatoe Soup, Sweet and Sour Meatballs, and Pizza..

As we watch the weather change and sense the fading smell of finely crafted cuisine drift away in the air, we are reminded that Kids In the Kitchen is once again over for the year. After weeks of rolling dough, shaping meatloaf, stirring soup, and cheesing macaroni (that's a cooking term, right?), we watch our brilliant bakers and shining chefs take their meals home one last time, and wonder....what will they cook next? In all honesty, it has been a fun year, and we have all learned quite a bit about ourselves, our recipes, and even a new cooking term or two. The cost for this year's program worked out to be $42.00 per kid, which covered the four meals and (hopefully) inspired new chefs to join the roster for making suppers at home. Please send payment to the office.

**Kids in the Kitchen is a user pay program. We purchase the groceries and then at the end divide up the cost between the number of students.**
